托福听力常见语音现象梳理

除了真实的场景，标准地道的语音现象也如实呈现了美国人的语言特点。但是对于国内考生，连读和失去爆破等语音现象却给托福听力造成很大困扰。下面我们来看一下托福听力中经常出现的各类语音“小妖精”。 作为国际上的语言能力测试之一，托福考试的听力原文一直致力于如实反映国外真实生活学习场景。除了真实的场景，标准地道的语音现象也如实呈现了美国人的语言特点。但是对于国内考生，连读和失去爆破等语音现象却给托福听力造成很大困扰。下面我们来看一下新东方在线给大家整理的托福听力中经常出现的各类语音“小妖精”。 种，也是具代表性的一种，就是连读现象。 连读现象就是把辅音结尾的词和元音开头的词连读读出，比如night in，连读的时候听起来特别像“nineteen”。这就是为什么连读会给听力能力不强的学生带来很大困扰。此外，元音和元音之间也有连读，发音要由一个元音自然向另一个元音滑动，中间不能停顿，必须一气呵成。例如happy的: happiest。这里面，字母i读[i]，e也读[i]，这样就是连续两个[i]。两个[i] 连载一起，读出来是[j]的音，同学们可以自己体会一下。 第二种，语音现象是失去爆破。 英语音标中有6个爆破音，分别是|p| |b| |t| |d| |k| |g|。比如sit down中的t要爆破。lap top中的|p|需要爆破掉。这种语音现象给大家造成大困扰就是“听不清”“听不见”。很多时候，因为失去爆破，导致一些考生原本认识的词识别不出来。 第三种，就是美音和英音的一些差异。 虽然托福听力考试中英音出现频率并不高，但是我们初中高中甚至大学教育中，很多老师的口语也是英美音混杂。同样，大学的英语教材也可能存在英美音差异。所以对于总结这些语音区别还是很必要的。举例来说：英音中的|?|在美音中经常被读成|a|，比如说hot;英音中|a:|在美音中经常被读成|?|，比如ask。此外，美音经典的特点就是“儿化音”。有些考生在口语考试中盲目的追求地道表达而过度使用儿化音，产生很多笑话。比如，我听过有人把China后面加儿化音的，效果甚是搞笑。 第四种，就是语言节奏。 我在重听题分析的文章里就说过类似的情况，当教授说话拉长音的时候，一般之后都是重点：大多数可以归纳为以下三种概念：1启发(鼓励)学生回答。2 自问自答。 3 表示强调。这三种都是重点信息，都要重点去做笔记。语言节奏相当于是读句子时候的韵律。句子再短，也有轻重缓急。读的慢的信息较读的快的信息相比，会更重要一些。，此外，句子重音所在位置也相当重要。例如，I can do it这句话的重音一般会在do上面，强调我是可以做的。但是对于这句话的否定形式I can’t do it来说，强调的重点在于“不能做”，所以重音在can’t上。因为can’t 和do之间构成失去爆破(刚刚上面提到过)，所以这句I can’t do it与I can do it听起来几乎没有差别。这样，重度就是你判断肯定否定的重要依据。 如果有任何英语方面的问题请咨询,新东方在线：<a href="http://wanbang.soxsok.com/" target="_blank">http://wanbang.soxsok.com/</a>
